At Washington Avenue Church of Christ
We have multiple ladies groups to be involved in here at Washington Avenue. If you would like to get involved in some or all of these groups, please feel welcome to join.
Ladies Class
The Ladies’ Class meets upstairs in room 220 every Sunday morning at 9:30AM and Wednesday evening at 6:30PM. The topic changes every class and every quarter so there is much to learn. Check the Bible Classes page for the current topics.
Ladies Bible Study
Come join us in Ladies’ Bible Study every Thursday from 10AM to 11 upstairs in room 220. We are serious but casual. We use the Bible, a chapter by chapter plan, and discussion. All are welcome, feel free to join us or visit anytime.
Ladies Fellowship Group

OWLS
Our “Owls” group (Older Wiser Ladies Serving) come together regularly doing various service projects such as hosting wedding showers and baby showers, to assisting others in need. Plans are taking place for special classes and seminars to assist and help our seniors with their daily lives.
Ladies Day
is a wonderful time for women to come together for a day of fellowship, singing, prayer, Bible lessons, and sharing a meal. It features either a guest speaker or several speakers from our congregation. Women from area congregations as well as family and friends are also invited to attend. This event is usually held on a Saturday in the Spring. Please check the calendar for the next Ladies Day event.
Ladies Retreat
is a fun time for women of all ages to come together for an evening of Bible lessons, singing, games, crafts, snacks and skits. This event is usually held on a Friday night in early Fall. Please check the calendar for the next Ladies Retreat.
