Sprouts

Sprouts is our education program for children from birth to age 2. We want our little ones to “sprout” and grow hearts full of love for God from the get-go. We believe in planting the seeds of faith, hope and love in the tender hearts of our little ones. To accomplish this mission, we use multiple learning styles by using flip charts, songs, play time and teamwork. Sprouts is more than an educational program; it's a nurturing community where infants and toddlers are embraced with warmth and care. We recognize the crucial role parents play in a child's development. Sprouts encourages active parental involvement, creating a supportive partnership between the church and home. Our dedicated team understands the unique needs of this age group and creates an environment that cultivates engagement and learning about our loving savior.

Each Sunday morning and Wednesday evening, we welcome you to take your children to the appropriate classroom where there will always be at least two adults with them. When class is over, you may return to the same classroom to pick them up.

You can be confident that while you are in class enjoying some uninterrupted spiritual nourishment, your child is being cared for and encouraged by a teaching staff who is excited to share God’s love with them. At Washington Avenue, we are committed to sowing the seeds of a lifelong love for learning and spiritual connection in the hearts of our youngest members.
